This Privacy Policy explains how UnityCare Technologies LLC ("UnityCare," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit unitycareit.com, call, text or email us, sign up for SMS alerts, or use our IT services.

1. Information We Collect

This website has no contact or lead forms. You reach us by calling, texting or emailing, and the SMS opt-in form is the only form on the site. We collect:

Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, company and anything else you choose to share when you call, text or email us, sign up for SMS alerts on our SMS opt-in page, or engage our services.
SMS opt-in information: the mobile number you enter, your consent, and the date and time of your opt-in (see "Text Messaging (SMS)" below).
Technical information: when you visit, our server and our content-delivery provider automatically receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of each request.
Advertising pixel information: the OpenAI advertising pixel collects information about your visit and Call, Text or Email taps, as described in "Cookies, Pixels and Analytics" below.

To respond to your calls, texts and emails and to provide our services
To send the SMS messages you opted in to receive
To operate, secure and troubleshoot this website, including detecting and blocking abuse
To measure whether our advertising leads to people contacting us
To improve our website and services
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

3. Cookies, Pixels and Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, or any other analytics or advertising tools on this website other than those described here.

OpenAI advertising pixel: We use the OpenAI (ChatGPT) Ads conversion pixel, loaded from openai.com, to measure whether our advertising leads to people contacting us (ad conversion measurement). When you visit our site, the pixel may collect your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, the referring page, an ad click identifier if you arrived from one of our ads, and cookies or similar identifiers. When you tap a Call, Text or Email link, it records a conversion event (for example "lead_created", "phone_call", "sms_click" or "email_click"). It does not receive the phone number, message or email you send. OpenAI processes this information under its own privacy policy (openai.com/policies/privacy-policy).

Cloudflare: Our website is delivered and protected by Cloudflare, a content-delivery and security network. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and to block attacks and automated abuse, and may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance. Cloudflare may also provide us with aggregated, cookieless traffic statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

Hosting: This website runs on a server that we operate ourselves on a commercial cloud provider (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). Our server keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time) for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can use a browser setting or extension that blocks third-party scripts to stop the advertising pixel from loading. The site works normally either way. See our Cookie Policy (unitycareit.com/cookie-policy) for details.

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, and our website does not currently respond to them. You can still block cookies and the advertising pixel as described in our Cookie Policy.

5. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to UnityCare IT Alerts, we collect your mobile number, your consent, and the date, time and method of your opt-in. Our messaging provider keeps a history of the messages sent to and received from your number. We use this information only to operate the program, and we share it only with our SMS service provider and wireless carriers as needed to deliver messages.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared for marketing, as described in "Text Messaging (SMS)" above. We share information only:

With service providers who help us run our website and business (such as Cloudflare, our cloud hosting provider, and our phone, SMS and email providers), only as needed for them to provide their services to us
With OpenAI through the advertising pixel, as described above
When required by law, court order or legal process
To protect the rights, property or safety of UnityCare, our clients or others
In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business, subject to this policy

7. Data Retention

Calls, texts, emails and inquiries: kept as long as needed to respond and keep business records, generally up to 3 years after our last contact (longer if you become a client and the records are part of our service records).
SMS consent records: kept for at least 4 years after your last message or opt-out, so we can show that consent was given.
Server and security logs: kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Advertising pixel data: retained by OpenAI under its own policies; we receive conversion reports.
Client service records: kept as required by our contract with that client and, for healthcare clients, the Business Associate Agreement.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures designed to protect personal information from loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. HIPAA and Protected Health Information

We provide HIPAA-focused IT services to healthcare organizations. When we work for a HIPAA covered entity, we do so under a signed Business Associate Agreement, and any protected health information we handle for that client is governed by that agreement.

This website is not intended for protected health information (PHI). Please do not send patient or resident information through this website, by text message, by email, or in a phone or voicemail message. If you need to share PHI with us, contact us first and we will arrange a secure method.

10. AI-Assisted Blog Content

Articles on our blog are drafted with the help of AI tools, and a new article is published daily. They are general information only, may contain errors, and are not legal, compliance, medical or other professional advice. Please contact us before relying on them for decisions about your organization.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Email start@unitycareit.com; we will honor reasonable requests whether or not a specific law applies to us.

12. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date.
